Active ingredients
Pomegranate oil: What makes pomegranate oil special, is the combination of two antioxidant components of the fruit, such as punicalagin and Omega 5. The first is found in the skin of the pomegranate, and the second is only found naturally in the inner seed. Punicalagin promotes the regeneration of the dermis and Omega 5 regenerates the epidermis. In addition, it has a high level of polyphenols and anthocyanins, which help fight free radicals and skin ageing. It is indicated for dry, devitalised skin, for the treatment of wrinkles and for sensitive skin conditions. Its estrogenic properties make it an ideal treatment for mature skin, as well as the conjugation of its fatty acids which provide a powerful soothing action for sensitive skin. Recent studies carried out by the University of Michigan have shown not only its beneficial effects on the epidermis but also as a stimulator of keratin production in the skin.
Red vine: Red vine extract is obtained from the leaves of Vitis vinifera. In the leaves of Vitis vinifera we find: Polyphenols, organic acids, phenolic acids, and other active principles such as: esters of cinnamic acid and tartaric acid, vitamins B and C, folic acid, carotenoids, proteins and mineral salts. Red vine extract is used to combat the signs of skin ageing due to the sequestering action of free radicals and the antioxidant action that provides it with an abundance of polyphenols. The large amount of essential fatty acids it contains gives the skin flexibility and a more youthful appearance.
Aloe vera: The action of natural nutrients, minerals, vitamins, amino acids and enzymes stimulate the reproduction of new cells. It is also an important cell regenerator, toner and is highly penetrating on the skin. It is an excellent enhancer in protective preparations. It has revitalising, moisturising, soothing and refreshing properties.
Calendula: It has soothing and softening properties. It is excellent for soothing sensitive skin. It exerts a positive cutaneous action in all cosmetic preparations.
Mallow: Its extract is obtained from the fresh flowers and leaves of the mallow plant through a maceration process. Its properties include: an effective calming power, a softening and protective effect on the skin thanks to the presence of mucilage, and an important contribution of vitamins A, B and C.
Lemon balm: It has a calming, sebum-regulating and softening effect.
Açaí: The Açaí is a palm tree that grows in Amazonia. Its fruit is a purple berry with concentrations of anthocyanins, which are powerful antioxidants, higher than those found in red wine. It is a powerful antioxidant and fights free radicals that cause deterioration of the skin. It contains an impressive combination of Omega 6 and Omega 9, essential fatty acids, phytosterols, vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids. It is highly emollient; it is an effective moisturiser for products intended to heal dry, cracked skin and improves skin tone and keeps it young.
